Hey guys!! This is my fifth Blog and first of all I want to thank all my followers because my last Blog had the most viewers so far. This Blog comes quite quick after my last Blog because I have an other re-examination, so I don't have time to study and to write Blogs at the same time... So to start I will talk about the differences that still are in our world. I think all the people who read my Blogs are civilized people. We all have a cellphone, a personal computer, a house and a home...But I was reading The Economist today where I read a quite bizarre article. There is still a enormous difference in wages and in purchase power. The UBS , a Swiss bank, has compared the minutes which people, in different countries, have to work before they can buy a same standard item. A beef-burger. First of all, as pescotarian I discourage people to buy Big Macs, but that doesn't matter right now. The results were very stunning! Chicagoans and the residents of Tokyo and Toronto only have to work 12 minutes before they can buy a Big Mac in their local McDonald's restaurant. By contrast, employees in Mexico City, Jakarta or Nairobi have to work almost 160 minutes to buy a burger. In that time Chicogoans can buy 10 burgers!! I also don't know how to solve this difference, but as blogger I have to talk about such items although I can't change the world. But like I already said one's I can't change the world but maybe I can change some people's view on it....The only thing I can do is to advice people to go on holidays in those regions because tourist boost the economy. My second item is also economy-related. Barack Obama nominated Ben Bernanke as chairman of the Fed. His first term does not expire until next January but Mr Obama already made his decision. I think it is a very good decision to put Bernanke back at the top because of 2 reasons. First of all, Bernanke survived the worst financial crises since the 1930s. So I think when there would be an other financial crises Mr Bernanke is THE man to know what to do. Second, When they replace Mr Bernanke who would they take? Of course there are full successors. Their choice would be a democratic. I think it isn't the right moment to merge politics and economy in this stadium of the crisis. They economy is reviving so it's better to concentrate on the evolution of the crisis instead of to discuss whether it would be a democrat or republican...So that's it for today! See you soon! And remember: Go crazy but be informed!

Hey guys this is my second blog. I got some nice reaction of my friends where i'm very happy for! This blog actually is inpired by 2 songs "Anytime you need a friend" by Mariah Carey and " In Between" by, one of Hollands biggest performers, Wouter Hamel. Sometimes I ask myself: ' what's the definition of a good friend?' and I really don't know an answer on that one. Someone who alarms you when they see trouble, someone who helps you out of trouble or someone who keeps you out of trouble? Everyone has difficulties which we have to deal with. Everyone needs somebody in life, I definitely do not deny that! But the way some people are in our life scares me. I really don't believe people have to stick together like bangers to mash or bees to honey. A good friend or partner is someone who is standing by you, more like an adviser. At some point in our life we leave our parents (or sometimes they leave us) and we need new adviser in our life. I don't believe someone can be your everything. When only one person is somebody else his/her everything our life's will become too narrow-minded. You really don't have to agree on what i'm saying but than leave a reaction so we all can discuss about it! But I hope everyone agrees on my second topic! Typhoon Morakot, which crossed Taiwan, killed a lot of people and destroyed hundreds of people's homes! I really was ( and still being) shocked when I saw an entire house just fall into a river. Imagine something like that happens with your home, your cosy couch or your warm bed... they also just need someone in between...
