Hey guys, not that good news today...Kim Cijsters just lost her Quarter-final in Cincinnati against Dinara Safina (1) in 2 sets 2-6, 5-7. It was only Kim's third match since her come back. She played a very good match, but she missed some routine in her game. Her service was definitely not bad but she missed some speed in it. On the other hand, she had a tremendous en powerfull backhand! Strong on her both feet, all her weight in it and with the force like she has never been gone! But Safina got the upper hand. Safina played a very determined match, didn't make a lot of (big) mistakes, overall the deserved winner. At last she is worlds number one... In 2 weeks it's the start of the last Grand Slam of this year, the US Open. Who will go for the title? Will it be Safina's first GS victory? Will it be an old fashioned Williams final? or will it be Clijsters second Grand Slam victory? She won the US Open in 2005 and it definitely is playing top 10 level now... Will it be top 5 level in 2 weeks? I hope so!! My second Item of my blog is world economy! I know for a lot of people not that interesting but how can you live in a world when you only know the good stuff about it. What concerns me is the declining inflation. At this moment deflation is -0,7% which means that the prices of the good become cheaper... and the inflation is still declining! Please people buy goods!! don't wait for the prices to decline more! They will but when you want to go out of our "recent" recession than don't postpone your purchases!! A deflation ( negative inflation) is a real disaster! better a high inflation than an deflation. A deflation is a negative coil... It is a very simple economic chain. Prices go down, people postpone, supply is too big and we have even bigger and worse recession. So one good advice: let's spend some money... !! See you on my next blog and remember 'go crazy but be informed!'
